Country Market LogoWroughton Country Market ~ How Do I Join?
Come along to the market and talk with the Market Controller who will put you in touch with the person responsible for the section you are interested in producing for.

You will need to bring along a sample of your produce, 5p membership fee, £4.80 for a Rule Book and sign some forms. Cooks will need to purchase a copy of the Food Safety Guidelines (currently £1.45). You will also need to purchase lables or packaging before you can bring your goods along to sell as there are stringent requirements on labelling and hygenic packaging. You will be advised and helped to choose the most appropriate labelling and packaging for your items. New cook members receive a sample pack of packaging and labels. All producers will need to purchase an invoice pad, though some sample sheets are available to tide you over and help you get producing for the market as soon as possible.

It does seem like a lot to remember, but don't worry as there is always someone there to help you and you will soon get used to the way it all works! If you have any questions, plese do come along to the market and speak to the Market Controller who will help and guide you.

Please note that we have a hard-won local reputation of good quality. We do not accept goods that are not up to our standards.
